Travel Sequence Storyboard

As I haven't had much experience with environmental sketching, I decided to find some references from films I like that are similar to my short film, and that feature very cinematic shots (as well as a few more specific photos).

I then sketched out eight storyboard thumbnails combining elements from these references in a way that would fit my story and specifically the journey Beram goes on. I wanted to include a variety to show Beram travelling a large distance, as well as to make these scenes very interesting to watch. Once these were sketched out, I reordered them a bit and selected 6 of them, so that it's concise in its storytelling.

I think these stroyboards are quite successful, as it makes my short more cinematic overrall and shows the lengths to which Beram is going to return to his home and daughter. The ordering of the shots is also successful as each scene flows between the next, always moving from left to right.

I think to improve I could add more detail, maybe including features that are specific to Beram's world to improve the worldbuilding. Also adding a bit of shading would be beneficial to improve the contrast and clarity.
